About the Role
As an Inhouse Architect at BEAT81, you’ll lead architectural projects from concept to execution, ensuring each project meets our standards for brand quality, user satisfaction, and compliance with German construction standards. You own the planning and execution of the entire architectural process until work phase 7, collaborating closely with draftsmen for initial designs, assessing potential spaces, finalising studio designs and customer flows, and working with the expansion team to deliver functional, inspiring studio spaces across Germany.

In this position, you will play a vital role in expanding our studio portfolio and ensuring the success of each project. Your focus will be on designing innovative spaces, optimizing layouts, and enhancing customer flows. You will oversee that each project stays true to the BEAT81 brand while aligning with technical requirements, industry standards, and the design playbook you manage. This position requires a balance of creativity and technical expertise to create spaces that are both impactful and practical.

Your Responsibilities

• Project Leadership: Oversee architectural projects through the first development stages, from preliminary design to preparation for tendering, ensuring alignment with internal and external standards.

• Design Ownership: Improve the studio design project by project and ensure our construction specifiactions are up to date
  

• Collaborative Design: Work closely with draftsmen on initial concepts, ensuring designs meet brand and functional requirements.

• Stakeholder Coordination: Foster strong relationships with external and internal stakeholders, ensuring effective communication and collaboration at each project phase.

• Standards and Compliance: Maintain compliance with local building codes, zoning laws, and environmental regulations throughout all stages of the project in collaboration with our expansion team.

• Quality Assurance: Ensure each project is delivered with exceptional quality and functionality, balancing aesthetic appeal with user-centered design.

Who You Are

Profile

• Experienced Architect: You have proven experience in architectural design, with a strong foundation in technical and conceptual planning across all project stages.

• Architectural Expertise: Proficiency in design software like AutoCAD, Revit or ArchiCAD, with knowledge of building codes and zoning regulations.

• Detail-Oriented: Your meticulous attention to detail ensures accuracy in designs, meeting both regulatory and company standards.

• Adaptable and Solution-Oriented: You can balance design vision with practical needs, adapting quickly to challenges with creative solutions.

• Language Proficiency: Fluent in English and German (C1 level or higher), enabling clear, effective communication with diverse stakeholders.

• Willingness to Travel: You are open to travelling across Germany as needed for site visits and project coordination.
